Paint Colors In Our Home

I am always getting asked what paint colors are in our home, so I thought I’d write up a blog post of them all!

LIVING ROOM

Simply White by Benjamin Moore – This warm white is throughout our whole home. I wanted a warmer white and this one has got to be one of my favorites. The yellow undertones compliments my warm furniture, and never overcasts as cool in our home. It is a true white, so I wouldn’t say it’s creamy or even ivory (although in my photos it appears that way due to the editing I use).

BUILT-IN CABINETS

Greywood by Behr – This color is a chameleon and changes throughout the day depending on how the sun hits it. It has hints of gray, brown, and green and I love it so much! It is such a warm paint that compliments my white walls and stained shelves nicely! It almost is a neutral color to me, because it pairs so well with everything.

BOY’S ROOM

Motor City by Clare Paint – I love this blue so much! It almost is a gray-blue. It is less saturated (which I love), and could be used in a little girl’s room as well! It’s playful, warm, and sweet. If you are looking for a blue paint, but scared of some color, try this one!

BOY’S CLOSET

Duke Grey by Magnolia Home – A Stone gray with deep pale blue undertones. I wanted to give this closet a pop from the light and airy blue in the boy’s bedroom. I thought this blue would be so fun and give it a nice contrast! I wanted something bold but was scared to commit to a bigger space, so adding it to the closet was the right move. If you’re wanting to go bold in a space, but nervous like I was, I would suggest trying a smaller space to start out! The paint colors from Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines are SO good! I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

GUEST BEDROOM

Rolling Pebble by Behr – This rich green-brown paint is such a statement color! I love how moody and warm this color is! Online it definitely looks more tan/brown than in this bedroom. Again, paint looks different in every room, so make sure to swatch them in the exact room/spot to get the most accurate color you’re looking for! This room has very little light and one small window, so the paint tends to be on the moodier side, which is why it appears more dark and green. If this space had more natural light, I would expect the color to look completely different!

GUEST BATHROOM

Beige 04 by Lick Paint – Beige 04 is a light grey beige paint with black and yellow undertones. Balanced between warm and cool in a soft eggshell finish it appears slightly with green undertones in our windowless bathroom. Did you know your lightbulbs can also change the color of paint? We use warmer bulbs, so this probably affects the paint as well!

LAUNDRY ROOM

Adirondack Blue by Behr –  A stable and reassuring slate blue, Adirondack Blue echoes the calm respite of natural settings and refined sophistication. This is my latest project, and I wanted to be bold with color! And what better color than BLUE for a laundry room!? The color blue brings calmness, and it honestly reminds me of laundry, so I felt it was the best color for this space! I LOVE this blue. It’s rich and calming and is paired well with cool or warm elements!
